Working at my studio in Vancouver Washington.

Choosing a photographer is not an easy task, so here are some reasons to help you decide if I'm the right fit for you.

1. I will take the time to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for. Taking the photo is the simple part, but manifesting your idea and turning it into reality is another. In order to do this I speak to everyone before the shoot. During the shoot we work together to formulate our ideas. I include extra time in my shoot so we don't feel rushed. After we are done with the shoot I will work on processing them.

2. Nowadays processing takes place in a computer. People don't think of processing digital images but this is exactly what separates hobbyists and professionals. High end photographers shoot in whats called “RAW” format and these images need to be developed. After I develop your photos they will be uploaded to a website for you to view. From there we choose the images you like and I work on editing them further.

3. The editing process is where things can get tricky. Most edits are done in Photoshop. I strive to make sure that your photos DON'T look Photoshoped. I've seen to many photographers use filters (which are similar to the filters we use on out phones) to achieve a certain look. If we are working on a portrait the editing should look natural and the time it takes to do this correctly is significant and I will edit your photos to achieve the highest quality results.

4. The last part is the final review. You can either download your photos from the website or I have professional printing services in my office. We can work together to view the final product, do last minute corrections and even provide you with prints.

I hope this information has been helpful and I look forward to speaking with you. If you have any question please don't hesitate to contact me.
